We provide a wide range of additional professional services to make living in our houses just that bit extra special. From cleaning ensuites as well as communal areas to providing regular safety inspections and hi-tech features for heating and broadband, we aim to make our houses a pleasure to live in.

FINEROOMS AND COVID-19 UPDATE
We are all very relieved that we are no longer living in a high alert Covid situation, although we still urge all our housemates to stay safe, get vaccines when offered and stay home when unwell.  We know that there are still people for whom Covid-19 is a daily reality with Long Covid and other long term health challenges.  We urge our housemates to continue to be responsible and thoughtful to others.

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, FineRooms followed all available advice with regards to maintaining a healthy, safe place to live for our housemates.  We provided a range of sanitisation products for housemates to use, as well as publishing regular guides for tenants about how to stay safe while living in a shared house.  We offered virtual and safe-distancing viewings, checkins and checkouts to minimise potential infections, and provided simple rules for our tenants to keep  themselves and others safe.  

Safety

Fire Safety is of the utmost importance so we conduct regular monthly as well as quarterly visits to make sure all fire safety features, from fire doors to smoke alarms, are in great shape to protect you when you need it most.   In addition, we make sure houses are protected from intrusion so that you (and we) can sleep well at night!

Cleaning and Maintenance

Professional cleaners come once a week to clean all the communal areas as well as  ensuite on rota basis. Housemates are also expected to clean up after themselves in the kitchen and shared bathrooms. Once a month the food bins are cleaned and twice a year the external windows get a clean.  All houses have laundry facilities including a separate washing machine and dryer.

Hi-Tech

Our houses are packed full of Hi-Tech stuff including:   Virgin ultra High Speed broadband reaching 350Mbs; automated thermostat controlled heating so you can come home to a warm house every evening. All housemates  get access to the Arthur App so that all aspects of their tenancy can be managed online via a simple app.

Constantly reviewing and upgrading

We understand that shared houses are for people to live in and constantly review how comfortable and enjoyable it is to live there.
We regularly visit the house to check that facilities are working properly and upgrade electrical and furniture items if they are damaged.  We respond quickly to any faults or issues reported by housemates and ensure they are resolved by qualified builders, electricians, gas engineers and other contractors as necessary.  We want to make sure your stay is as safe, comfortable and easy as possible!   Housemates can easily let us know about any problems using the Arthur app on their phones.
